This piece was fun... I had the stainless steel cut and bent. From there, I brushed the steel with sandpaper and used oils to create a similar view of a guitar. Striking presence over a table or couch!
I started with a thin piece of plywood, simple. At that point, I ripped an old sheet and applied a glue and water mixture to the cloth, messy! Coating the wood, I add some strips of metal wiring for texture and depth.
Then I began to add the paint (layering colors and thickness) to create an unique ridged three dimensional piece that can stand only in any decor.
